Welcome to Natural Selection (natural-selection.org). This is my personal gaming blog. I value your privacy and believe in keeping data collection minimal and straightforward.
What Information Is Collected
- Direct emails: If you email me at info@natural-selection.org, I only keep your email address and message long enough to reply to you. I don’t sell, share, or use your email for marketing.
- Comments: If you leave a comment on a blog post, WordPress collects the name and email you provide, along with your IP address and browser user-agent to help filter out automated spam.
- Server logs: Like almost all websites, the hosting server automatically records basic technical data (your IP address, browser type, referring page, and visit timestamp). This data is anonymized and used solely to keep the website running securely.
- Cookies: I using standard session cookies to remember basic preferences (like whether you left a comment before). You can disable cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Third-Party Services
This site is a personal project. I do not sell user data to third parties, broker email lists, or run intrusive tracking networks. If external links (such as YouTube videos or community database tools) are embedded, those third-party services may set their own cookies according to their respective privacy policies.
