Welcome to Natural Selection, an independent World of Warcraft blog and strategy notebook run entirely by me, Seth Fuller. This site started out as a personal collection of notes, Mythic+ route drafts, and boss survival tips that I originally scribbled down for my own guild and dungeon groups. Over time, I decided to put everything online to give other players a clean, reliable place to find practical advice without having to dig through bloated articles, intrusive ads, or forty-minute video walkthroughs.
Why I Started This Project
If you actively play World of Warcraft, you already know how difficult it can be to find quick, accurate information when a new patch or dungeon season drops. Most major gaming databases and guide hubs have become frustrating to use. You click a link looking for a simple dungeon pull route, and you are immediately greeted by auto-playing videos, popup overlays, and paragraphs of generic filler text that feel like they were written by someone who hasn’t logged into the game in years.
On top of that, many popular route strings are copied directly from professional esports tournaments. While pulling three caster packs together and chaining four crowd-control immunities works for a synchronized team on voice chat, trying that same pull in a regular guild run or pug group almost always ends in a depleted key.
I built natural-selection.org to be the exact opposite of that experience: a straightforward, ad-clean notebook where every route, talent recommendation, and tanking tip is tested under real combat conditions.

- Tanking & Survival Notes: Active mitigation priorities, mob grouping advice, and positioning tips designed to make runs smoother for your healer.
- Interrupt & Kick Priorities: Clear callouts identifying which specific enemy casts will wipe your group versus which ones can be safely ignored.
- Honest Patch Reactions: Candid, unfiltered thoughts on weekly balance hotfixes, class design shifts, and expansion updates.
Keeping Content Accurate and Updated
World of Warcraft changes constantly. Blizzard frequently pushes weekly tuning hotfixes, nerfs dungeon trash health, or adjusts seasonal affixes. Whenever a balance pass rolls out on live servers, I review my notes and pull routes to make sure the advice on this site stays accurate. If a specific pull no longer works or if a talent node gets redesigned, I update the post directly rather than leaving outdated information sitting on the site.
